My cats love the Kitty Korner! It was such an easy install too. I love that it’s such a simple concept. The cats knew immediately what to do. I choose the left hand swing because I have a right hand swing door and wanted mine to swing inside of a closet verses outside. I love that it locks in place when in either position. So much easier than a cat door!

This kit was a very poor fit for my hollow door. I really had to finagle the installation and I believe it will break off very soon after opening and closing the hatch a few times. Though it is advertised for both solid and hollow doors, a solid wood door is a much better match for this product.
We appreciate your feedback, I also wanted to offer that we are aware of a very small number of hollow core doors (less than 30 over five years) where it is difficult to mount the hinge. We have found in most of these situations the door was cut shorter during installation to compensate for extra plush carpet or a second layer of flooring. We created a short video that speaks to how it is possible to add some reinforcement to hollow core doors to get much more robust mounting points. Works exactly like it should. I cut the corner off the door, mounted the hinge, and now I can flip it open for the cat or lock it shut for privacy. Perfect solution for letting our cat hit the litter box downstairs without bothering my son. My only complaint is the color—it’s bright silver and sticks out on a white door. I hit it with a white chalk pen to tone it down. Other than that, flawless thus far.
My cat has no problem using it. 10/10
The instructions were easy to follow, and the cats (even my chonky boy) can and do use it. Will probably buy a couple more for other doors in the house.
YAY! WE FEEL SAFER AT NIGHT! We actually adapted this kit to fit a metal French door which leads from our bedroom to the glassed-in sunroom area (formerly a screened-in porch). Now we can lock that door and the cats can still access their litter box and feeding station! Even our 18 lb cat has no problem walking through it.
It works great and was easy to install (with the help of my dad)!
I am really glad that I went with the kitty korner instead of a traditional cat door. I like that there’s no flap and that it’s easy for my cats to get through. It was easy to install (with the help of my dad). I’m happy with my purchase!
Second door we’ve installed. First to our basement and this one to our bedroom. Cats love the convenience and we love not having to keep doors cracked open. Really easy to install and locking mechanism on the hinge is a great design.
Stan Lee (the cat) absolutely loves this door. Keeps Riker (the dog) from getting to his stuff (ie: potty box for the candy Riker thinks appears, his greenies, his bikkies and his gourmet dinners)
I originally bought one for my bedroom door and have since bought three more! These are great for letting my kitties move freely throughout the house while maintaining some privacy and keeping the noise down.
I have four fickle cats that can’t ever decide if they want in or out of rooms, and especially can’t stand to be locked out of a room while we’re in there. I also live with a roommate and value my privacy. The Kitty Korner Door is the perfect solution to my problem. Easy to install and use and the cats had no problem learning how to use it. Having the ability to close it if I need to confine them to a room is even better. No other cat door does that. 10/10!!
I searched for all sorts of kitty doors and this one really caught my eye. It’s simple and does the job well. Haven’t had it that long, only for about 2 weeks but my cats took less than a minute to get use to it. Now my issue was with the instructions. As a visual learner I searched for the video and found it lacking. It was a learning curve to say the least on my second atelier I finally got it. I’ll give it a 7/10
We just got new doors for our entire upstairs and needed a solution for my daughter's bedroom door (she had an old fashioned cat door in her old door). We got this Kitty Korner and it looks so neat and tidy when both shut and open! It was easy to install thanks to the video showing it being done. Highly Recommend!
These are very easy to install. I love that I can now close my bedroom door and have my cats come and go as they please without me, or my husband, having to open the door for them.

Fairly easy to install with some planning. My cat loved it immediately. My door is hollow so it unfortunately is not super sturdy but it works as long as I’m careful!
This was the perfect solution to our crazy cat running around and pushing doors open. Now he has little portals to travel through and we get to keep our bedroom door closed now!
